After moving to Norfolk Helen worked for Queens Veterinary University in Cambridge as a Haematologist and Microbiologist in their diagnostic clinic. Further practical animal care continued at the RSPCA Wildlife hospital near Kings Lynn whilst dog grooming part time. Helen now works full time as a Dog Groomer but is involved with several animal and dog care charities.

Helen set up Bonny Dogs in 2003 and works from her home in Wells next the sea. Helen Nott (Bsc.hons) has over 25 years experience in dog grooming and animal care. Initially working for many years as a Microbiologist in the NHS her lifelong love of dogs led to a change of career back in 1989. Helen worked and underwent City & Guilds training for 3 years with European grooming champion Marianne Lovelace at her grooming parlour and kennels in Great Glenn, Leicestershire. This involved full time dog grooming and care of all the dogs boarding at the kennels at the owners home.
